Pondering...

Whether there is a philosophical explanation for why the scientific explanation does not necessarily exclude the religious explanation.

It seems to be the role of the religious explanation to explain the role of the scientific explanation in itself. Mostly, I guess because the scientific explanation refuses to do it.

That was probably part of the philosophical explanation.

I think it just has to do with the fact that God created both.

Well, as an utterly confused reader who knows not what the heck he is talking about, I think the explanations are intertwined, all essential to understanding reality and that isolating them is artificial and robs them of their emergent properties (but most importantly, hurts my brain)
